Jody and the Jerms
Jody and the Jerms are a 6 piece, female fronted Indie pop/Rock band. We formed in Oxford in the summer of 2019, and have been recording and playing our blend of melodic and uplifting Indie/alt rock ever since.
We have received National airtime on Radio X (UK), Sirius FM (USA), RTVE (Spain) and BBC 6 Music, BBC Introducing, BBC Wales and BBC Ulster, and were particularly championed by the late Janice Long. In fact, we were the last band to have a Live session on her Radio show before she sadly passed away.
This summer, we went on our own DIY Tour across the UK, (having released our album, 'Flicker'), played at The Cavern Club, Liverpool and played at 2 summer Festivals (Weirfest and Beaconfest)
More recently, Frank Skinner kindly played our song, 'Counting dreams' on his Absolute Radio show, and we also supported the Chesterfields in September in the 200 year old Lyric Theatre.
Taking you on a ride with their infusion of anthemic pop and modern rock, Sour Kix are an energetic female-fronted band, guaranteed to keep you entertained.
The lead singer, Amelie, captivates all audiences with her striking vocals and enthralling stage presence. Joined by her brothers Louis (guitar) and Ollie (drums), and closest friend Ed (bass), Sour Kix provide a memorable performance with songs sure to be stuck in your head.
Since 2013, Sour Kix have shared the stage with many acclaimed artists including: The Vamps, Jessie J, Kaiser Chiefs and Scouting for Girls, as well as regularly appearing on national radio and featured TV performances.
